Our approach
Bodyology is a unique approach to massage and to teaching massage. It combines traditional anatomy and physiology with a range of massage techniques from a variety of massage traditions. Bodyology is different from conventional massage schools as it teaches students to put the client at the centre of the treatment whilst ensuring that the therapist’s well being remains key to a successful treatment and a buzzing business.
Teaching
Our teaching philosophy is to create a fun and interactive environment. In our experience, when students are actively involved in learning, they will retain more information.
Teaching Massage Theory
You will learn the theory behind massage through a range of participative teaching methods both in and out of the class room making your Bodyology experience lively and fun.
Our Study Zone is accessible to all Bodyology students and graduates. It contains quizzes, videos and workshops to enhance your learning experience and enable you to share information with a community of therapists.
Teaching Massage Practice
Massage is taught using live demonstrations that are recorded so that you can refer to them whenever you need to refresh your memory. We teach massage using tutor demonstrations followed by supervised hands-on tuition.
